Leg 3 start downwind with a touch of Wellington

After a short but interesting stop over, we blasted off at 1430 on our way to Napier.

The first part of this leg is slated to be rather nice and it is, after a bit of downwind that required the boat to be firmly told who the boss is, we have settled in a comfortable run across Palliser Bay. Rob is driving and I busily sorting a Beef Bourguignon for an early dinner.

All is going well. Tonight we round the corner and are into up wind at some wind speed. We will tell you how we are coping in the morning.
