13000 nautical miles

Gold Cup Race 4 - this beautiful photo was taken by Suellen Davies of Live Sail Die. And yes we have brought a copy.

Many of you will have heard that Sally, Rob and Coppelia are once again stepping out of life and racing Round New Zealand.
And then you would have seen no action, no racing, nothing.
For the last few months, they have been busy in deep maintenance on boat and bodies, but onwater preparations began on the first Wednesday in December with a quick sail with their new sails (and cheerful sailmaker).  Then into the thick of things with the 4th race of the Gold Cup on December 8.

On the way to the start line for the Gold Cup, the log ticked over to 13000nm, all logged together since the start of the last Round New Zealand race. Magic.

There is still much to be done - 82 items on the list.
Join us on this great adventure.
