1900 march 24

sorry for the silence, we have been having comms. issues.

We made a plan last night and headed north in a hope of intercepting the northerly forecast for today.

We had a good run over night on no1 headsail, after changing round 10pm.

This morning the wind disappeared then came out of the south west… not good as we were the furthest eat boat.

Finally, the northerly arrived and we have been heading directly at Channel Island since about 9am., First under no1, then code zero, now back to the no 1, due to the wind getting up to about 15 knots true.

All is well onboard, we have pulled out the final bag of freeze dry food, so we are going to have an extra meal tonight. Hoping to get as close as possible to AKL before the south east tomorrow,
