This winter Rob and I went our separate ways, Rob sailing with his friend Chris, and I trying to concentrate on my goal of qualifying for the 2015 Flying 15 world champs. However, neither of us could resist a trip up the coast to Russell at Labour weekend, for the annual Coastal Classic. Thanks goodness we went, the race was fast with fresh (to frightening as Neil would say) winds. We finished before midnight the earliest we have ever got there, taking the 1st in the 2 Handed Division and 3rd online and 5th overall in Div 3.

On Friday we are off again this time with Chris Labb onboard racing 3-Handed in the Yates Cup. The winds are supposed to be light, so it could take awhile. Reports from onboard will be on this site as well as the RAYC face book.

Below are few videos  of Rob and I racing over the winter.
