SITREP 2200 12/02/14

Reaching, and more reaching, we have done more reaching this race than we did in the last RNI and the Round NZ race combined.
After our last message we hoisted the zero and sailed for a couple of hours with it until the wind got too much. White Gold answered our inital turn of speed and hoisted something large when the wind went aft. We were about to follow suit, kite plugged in when I called a stop to the proceedings on a bit of a hunch. We then were hit with 30 knots on the nose with rain. Lucky escape. Poor White Gold struggled to get theirs down and took a full 12 hours to pass us again.

Moral is Ok, better than alright, but we are tired and are focosed on getting the little things right, so hopefully the big one will follow.
