At noon today the boat was 18nm to the south west of Niue.
The weather for the trip looks pretty good.
A low in the Tasman Sea will move over centre of NZ on Tuesday, a high pressure centered to the north of the Chatman Islands, will remain stationary. The optimal route for Dreamcatcher till Wednesday is in the northeasterly winds to the north of the high pressure. The winds will then become northerly as Rob, Charles and Marie sail along the western side of the stationary high pressure.
I will be providing limited forecasting from NZ, Rob will be developing his own plan at sea. But for safety I will be in daily contact.
