We have finally rounded Cape Kidnappers and are on the wind of starboard in a northerly. We are a little slow, still moving forward by sailing, but always close to that point where we will move forward purely from the sail fanning the air as the rig is moved by the waves... Once this starts the boat shakes and the tensions rise.
Like every part of this leg the landscape is beautiful, I am not sure how many times I have said this is beautiful. Photos as soon as I get land based internet.
ETA Napier 5 - 7 hours so 1-3am. Sleep tight.
