The disappointment of not being able to race this weekend due to my lung infection, has made me realise more than ever that shorthanded / two person sailing is what I want to continue doing.
So where to form here for Rob and I. First on the calendar for me is a long earned rest starting on May 7th when I return from a work trip to Canada. I have been really busy since we finished the race and my body is saying NO MORE.
Our first racing of the new season will be the SSANZ B & G SIMRAD triple series, an event we have won the last two seasons.
Race 3 – 2010 SSANZ SIMRAD B&G Triple
The first race is on July 16th. Before then there are few little jobs to be done on the boat, and hopefully a chance to go for a couple of sails.
This years SIMRAD series will be a little different from the last few, as our shore crew Neil Easton will also be racing. So things will not be as easy for us as in the past. He will not be there with hot food when we get in!
